Ultrafast studies of electron dynamics correlated systems
Particular emphasis is placed on investigations of phase transitions in time, and most recently into the creation of new states of matter created under nonequilibrium conditions.
We have discovered new system with long-lived metastable phase created by single ultrashort optical pulse which is more stable than the ground states at room temperature – unusual CDW oxide Mo8O23 . We performed combined theoretical and experimental studies of the equilibrium and non-equilibrium parts of unusual CDW oxide Mo8O23.
