Research in the field of nonlinear optics includes laser frequency conversion, THz wave generation, and study of materials for photonic applications. We focus on quasi-phase matched second harmonic generation in UV-blue spectral part using structured AlN waveguides.
Also IR-visible sum-frequency generation (SFG) spectroscopy is used to investigate molecular assembly at surfaces and interfaces.
