Animating students with animations and quizzes

Abstract:
In this talk I will present our activities within the Photonics course for postgraduate students at FMF. Last year we were involved in a project called Digital University – with innovative use of ICT towards excellence. The main task was to create illustrative animations of photonics related phenomena. Challenging at first, the enthusiasm of students grew with time and the final products are now published on YouTube. I will also present other activities, including preparation of over 40 Wikipedia entries that our students contributed over the years, and Moodle quizzes that our students are currently preparing.
